Sheridan Park Association - Standing Committees
SPA Board of Directors

The Sheridan Park Association is comprised of voting Resident Members and non-voting Associate and Affiliate Members. Each Member may appoint a Representative and an Alternate Representative to the Association.

The Board of Directors is elected from the Representatives and Alternate Representatives by the voting members of the Association. The Board consists of a minimum of three Directors and a maximum equal to double the number of total Resident and Associate Member Companies, provided that each Resident Member shall have at least one but no more than two Representatives elected to the Board. Each Associate Member may have a maximum of one Representative elected to the Board.

The Board elects a President, who must be the Representative or the Alternate Representative of a Resident Member, and a Vice-President. The Board also appoints a Secretary and a Tresurer or a Secretary-Tresurer who may, but not need be a Director. The Board is charged with full responsibility for the management of the affairs of the Association.

• To promote the growth and attractivenes of the Sheridan Science and Technology Park, enabling the Park to evolve as a world class technical community and to return socioeconomic benefits to its members and to Canada.

Strategic Objectives

• Promote effective communication and interaction among Park Members;
• Foster excellence in science and technology;
• Encourage collaboration with potential new members, with other companies in the area, and with educational institutions;
• Seek cooperation with government and municipal agencies.
