Sheridan Park Association - Standing Committees
SPA Executive Committee

The Executive Committee and any other such committees may be constituted by the Board of Directors. All members of the Executive Committee are officers of the Association. The Executive Committee consists of the President, Vice -President, the most immediate Past President, and at least three but no more than five other persons elected by the Board of Directors. The Executive Committee is empowered to make such decisions on behalf of the Association, not otherwise required by law to be made by the Board, as determined by resolution of the Board of Directors. A Chairperson is appointed for each additional Committee constituted by the Board, providing the appointee is an employee of either a Resident or Associate Member. The President, the Secretary and the Tresurer are ex-officio members of all committees of the Association with the right to notice of and attend all meetings of all committees but without right to vote.

  • To promote the growth and attractiveness of the Sheridan Science and Technology Park, enabling the Park to evolve as a world class technical community and to return socioeconomic benefits to its members and to Canada.

Strategic Objectives

  • Promote effective communication and interaction among Park Members;
  • Foster excellence in science and technology;
  • Encourage collaboration with potential new members, with other companies in the area, and with educational institutions;
  • Seek cooperation with government and municipal agencies.
